Areas of responsibility include but not limited to: carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical trades work. RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete all work order tasks assigned in a timely manner. Diagnose all common faults of mechanical equipment by inspection, (e.
g. boilers, washers/dryers, stoves, HVACs) and using appropriate tools of preventative maintenance and inspection. Responsible for tools, keys, and materials assigned, and their stored security. Installation or assisting with carpet and linoleum. Perform interior and exterior painting / repairs also includes drywall work and painting. Maintenance and upkeep of plumbing systems. Alternate on-call duties with
other maintenance technicians. Remove snow / ice from residential and commercial facilities as required. Maintain safety of KIC Facility entrances. Inspect facilities and grounds for safety and security; identifies and reports hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to management.
Maintains records and logs of activities. Identifies parts and supplies to purchase for preventative and general maintenance. Provide information to manager in a timely manner. Performs custodial tasks. Assists with structural pest control measures. Other duties as assigned.
