Assists with preparation of the Patient including maintaining sterile environment during procedures. forms completion, etc. )Completes referrals and procedure/DI scheduling in a timely manner and obtains authorization when required. Follows up as instructed.
Maintains the exam rooms and work environment. Adequately stocks patient care areas and disposes of outdated medications and stock items according to clinic policy. Scans documents, and saving the document appropriately in the patient's EMR. Answers telephones, schedules appointments, and takes messages. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, and transition duties as needed during clinic days. Excellent customer service, communication, and ability to follow through with all tasks assigned with accuracy and efficiency are essential
for this role. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial for this role, as well as the ability to pay close attention to detail and multi-task.
All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse. Experience Prefer at least 1-2 year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable. (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
