Responsibilities and Duties: Perform planning and design work for substantial multi-phase new construction, renovations, and improvement projects for real property facilities, including utility systems. Perform operations and maintenance (O&M) engineering involving design and construction that encompasses
the maintenance, repair, upgrade, and operation of infrastructure facilities, including utility system. Perform work in the construction management, program/base development, and/or O&M functions.
Provide consulting services and project coordination. Prepares project time schedules and cost estimates. Comply with health, safety and environmental rules and procedures and perform work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment. Serves as the technical consultant/design project engineer on all design aspects of the project, and serves as technical expert in support of contract negotiation and/or contract administration. Required Education, Knowledge and Skills: Bachelor's
degree in engineering or related degree such as mechanical, civil, electrical, or architecture (Required) Minimum 5 years' experience as a design engineer or project manager.
Knowledge of the fundamental engineering principles, concepts and practices. Comprehensive knowledge of applicable building codes, estimating, design and technical writing. Ability to manage complex projects, supervision and labor, and coordinate to meet the needs of the project. Prior experience working with Government Project Managers on processing change requests, requests for information, submittals and field observation reports and security protection measures. Must have experience in gathering data to solve complex technical problems and be able to follow established project related procedures and complete established project milestones.
Written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills Knowledge of software including Microsoft Office applications, BUILDER, TRIRIGA/NEXGEN IT (desired), and E-Gordian/e4Clicks (desired), Auto CAD/Revit (desired)Maintain a valid driver's license. Qualified applicant must be able to pass a background check. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.

Project/Position Overview: Providing responsive, flexible full-spectrum installation engineering services for all customers and tenants on Davis-Monthan AFB (DMAFB), AZ. The services required include providing installation engineer technical assistance (requirement planning, development, execution) in supporting DM AFB. There will be engineering support for Facilities Sustainment Restoration & Modernization, decentralized Facilities Sustainment Restoration & Modernization, and Military Construction Project Development, Project Planning & Program Development, Installation Asset Management, and the Planning & Execution of In-House Facilities Projects.
