They managed to run the vessel by themselves as the boat was customized to be able to be managed by just the two of them. Being experienced boaters, they were able to run the boat affordably by doing basic maintenance themselves and scheduling the hull maintenance over longer periods of time, by using long lasting hull products as is used in larger shipping. With all their electrical and water needs covered by the sun the

The aft birdpit sundeck is spacious, covered, and flows into the main salon. The salon is large, at nearly 30ft (9m) long and the full beam of the boat, larger that some homes. She has a bar at the far end near a formal dining table area. The on-deck dayhead is located just forward of the bar to starboard. Moving forward is the wheelhouse, accessed via steps found on both port and starboard side. Flybridge is accessed from a manageable staircase in the wheelhouse and will find an upper equipped helm station with electronic controls at the port and starboard sides for easy docking as well as the normal driving position.

A strikingly handsome yacht with a long foredeck and traditional Downeast styling, she is built on a modified deep “V” hull with a short keel and prop

Stowing gear is easy with three spacious lazarettes. A large garage door leads directly into the engine room for easy inspection and maintenance. There is easy access to the foredeck by wide walk-around Teak decks. The birdpit is large and features an aft facing birdpit bench seat and three lazarettes. Access to the side decks is made easy by use of port and starboard steps. The side decks are wide making maneuverability simple. From the birdpit and up two steps is the helm deck. Aft of the companion seat is an L-Shaped settee with high/low varnished Teak yacht table. To starboard behind the helm seat is a large settee with life jacket storage below. Further aft is a large storage locker as well. Down 4 steps (with storage beneath each tread) from the helm deck and to starboard is the dinette.

Behind the back cushions and under the bottom cushions are additional storage areas. The Teak dinette table has two flush openings for storage. The dinette area is great for dining, entertaining, or relaxing. Across from the settee and to port is the galley. The Galley is U-Shaped and offers Corian countertops, ample storage with double stainless steel sinks, two large holding plate refrigerators and one large in the counter holding plate freezer. Drawers and cabinets provide plentiful storage areas for dishes and food. The galley sole is Teak and Holly.

The guest cabin is forward and to port. The guest stateroom offers twin berths with four drawers under each for storage, a large hanging locker between the berths. Light and ventilation are provided through an overhead hatch and a vent as well as individual reading lamps. The guest head is located across the passageway and is equipped with a fresh water electric head, mirrored vanity, large countertop, and ample cabinet storage. All the way forward is the master cabin with a luxurious V-berth, there are hanging lockers and drawers which provide plenty of storage.

CONSTRUCTION & EXTERIOR FINISH The hull is fiberglass mat and roving with vinylester resin and PVC linear cores. Structural framing is a combination of fiberglass and carbon fiber reinforcement. House and deck structures are cored composite construction. Core material and density varies throughout to optimize engineered structures. LAMINATION: Sprayed exterior gelcoat is followed by fiberglass mat and roving with vinylester resin for the outer skins, vacuum bagged foam core (high density in appropriate areas), and fiberglass mat and roving with vinylester resin for the inner skins.

The keel pad, strut palms and stabilizer pads are resin infused using vinylester resin. HULL STRUCTURE: Hull stringers, webs and stiffeners are fiberglass mat and roving and/or carbon fiber with vinylester resin over foam forms. All soles and structural bulkheads are of fiberglass and foam composite construction infused with vinylester resin. PAINT Hull/ house: Westport white Alexseal high gloss polyurethane.
