There also is a good-sized Bimini top for some shade on hot sunny days. There is a door to the storage area under the port windshield that can be used with the porta-potty.
The seller has owned the boat since 2014 and indicates they have maintained it with an open checkbook. In the last two years the seller has replaced the jet drive operation cables, batteries and impellers himself. The boat has flush ports, and he launches the boat in a nearby freshwater river to flush the boat motor and trailer. The boat is kept covered, could use a buff on the hull sides and upholstery, and has a few wear spots shown in pictures. The seller estimates 250 hours on the engines, however the digital hour meter was not working. The seller mentioned the trailer brakes are not working.

Pride of ownership is evidenced by the condition of this 2007 Maxum 2600 SE. Very slick and recently buffed and waxed exterior. Clean and blemish free cockpit and upholstery. Excellent salon, galley, forward dining and berth, aft cabin and bath. Exterior speaker do not work but can be fixed.

This 1985 Sea Ray 260 Sundancer looks to be very well taken care of. Hull looks to be in good shape. No signs of stress cracks in the fiberglass. Seats and bedding show no signs of wear or tear. Appliances seem to all be in good working order.

This vessel has seen both fresh and saltwater use over its lifetime. The seller had the Yamaha dash replaced, the hours were cleared, seller believes was right around 360 hours and now shows the most recent
use since being replaced which is 7 hours. The seller estimates under 370 total hours. The 1.8L twin engine setup is 180 HP each with seating to accommodate 12 people comfortably. The seller will include a Yamaha boat cover as well. This model really places the control in the captain's hands with the lateral thruster installed and the rudder, these options greatly increase control at low speeds and assist with trailering and docks as well.
The seller reports that the vessel was always flush after use with Salt-Away. There is space in the center section for porta-potty as well.
The local and visiting consulant felt the vessel will need TLC and the seller has also priced the vessel considering these needs. This Larson 290 Cabrio is a great boat for Catalina Island or just cruising the harbor.
She is powered by a rebuilt Volvo Penta 7.4L 310 HP engine with a closed cooling system
and a Volvo Penta Duo Prop outdrive.
The hull on this Larson Cabrio 290 is a modified V hull bottom with an "amidship" step that divides the hull into forward and aft sections- what Larson calls a Duo Delta Conic hull. The effect on the hull is impressive.
In the birdpit, there is a walkthrough transom with a door and a transom bench that meets another bench on the port side making an L bench.
Then there is a double wide back-to-back seat at the helm.
Overhead there is a large custom bimini with a 160-watt solar panel making sure your batteries are charged and ready to go all the time.
Down below you have the galley to port with a refrigerator and sink and to starboard is the head and
wet shower. Forward you have hanging lockers and a large roomy double berth, then there is also a large and roomy double berth amidships. The sound system is good with an Amped sub to give you the mood you want to match the harbor's quiet or the trip home's excitement.
The condition is very good for the age of the boat. The bottom paint is very good primarily because it is not kept in the water. The upholstery is in pretty good condition with exception of the Captain's double seat. It is showing signs of wear and cracking. Everything works as it should except the speedometer but the GPS will tell you what your speed is, so really don't need it.

This boat is in very good condition for its age. The upholstery is clean and no deep scratches or tears were visible. Installed 2 new batteries in June 2022. The cockpit and foredecks are solid with no soft spots. The staining in the cabin carpet has been professionally cleaned and looks much better - this was from standing water when the companionway was left open. No leaks. The trailer has new bunks and carpeting on them (2022). New radio head unit installed in 2022.
