The vessel is in good condition, with some TLC needed. She is seaworthy, and has been put in the water to ensure all through-hulls are watertight. The deck has had recent repairs and no soft spots were noticed. The forestay was replaced in 2021, and the rigging was inspected when replaced and found to be sound. The tracks need to be reinstalled before her next sailing.

The overall condition of the boat is poor. The bottom paint was done in April 2019. The standing rigging might need to be evaluated. The running rigging also needs to be evaluated. The Main and Genoa sails seem to be in fair condition and are stowed below to keep the sun from affecting their performance. The engine is currently out of the boat. An electric motor has been purchased and is on the boat but not installed. The trim and wood externally need to be sanded and new polyurethane applied. She needs a deep cleaning inside and out. On the last visit, April 22, 2023 there was water in the bilge up to the floorboards. There was no operating bilge pump. There are signs of termites in various areas of internal trim. For her age, this Catalina appears in good condition.
Condition Vessel has been cared for, upgraded and restored by seller who has owned her the last 17 years.
