Forward on the port side is the head, which has a new compost toilet and a separate standing shower with a fold-away door to keep the other areas dry. The head has a stainless steel sink, a mirror, a medicine cabinet, and a roof hatch for ventilation. On deck the birdpit is very roomy to accommodate your family and friends, there is a hardtop and a custom bimini top to provide protection from the elements. The recessed aft coming provide easy access to the transom and there is a retractable stainless steel swim ladder.
There is also a Kato marine dinghy davit with a custom hammock with seating for two or lounging, so you can really relax while on anchor. The birdpit allows easy access to the Westerbeke diesel engine with only 1200 hours. The engine drives a liftable, steerable, outdrive leg from Sillette Marine with a 20" propeller that can motor in less than 2' of water, this Gemini has two 18-gallon fuel tanks. The Centerboards are operated from inside the boat and will easily kick up if the boat is grounded.
The boards allow a 5'6" draft when fully lowered and only 18" of draft when fully raised, making this an extremely versatile boat.
