Aside from the obvious cosmetic issues, this 1979 C&C Encounter 26 appears to be in pretty decent mechanical and operational condition. Please note, however, that there is some evidence of water intrusion on the bulkhead between the salon and the head on the port side. The seller states "...seems to be from the chain plates. It will occasionally leak a little with heavy rain. It has not been remedied". It is recommended that buyers rely only on their own experience/expertise or that of a qualified marine surveyor when making their purchase decision.
