This 1964 Dodge Dart GT Convertible is an original.
The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. The hydraulics that operate the convertible top have been rebuilt and work great. The interior and convertible top are super clean. The car has a small leak from the yolk that Iâve been told is just an âold car â thing.
Iâve have the seal replaced twice trying to fix it. the gas gauge works when it wants too. So I just use the odometer to be sure. In addition to the leaf springs Iâve added air shocks to the rear. Car has current tags and registration. Exterior No Rust, Super Clean 64 Dodge Dart Paint is 5 years old.
New wheels and rims less than 1000 miles on them. Interior Interior is beautiful no rips no tears. Modern radio in glovebox. Push button Trans replaced with floor gear selector. Engine The original push button trans 270 has been replaced with a fast and loud 360 rebuild. Mileage of 23,700 is accurate with new motor. Brand New battery.

Let me start off by saying how much fun this classy Carrera is , car is a blast to drive with top up or down any day of the week.
Gets tons of looks and thumbs up everywhere she goes. Grabbing everyone's attention of how beautiful she is. Having what is arguably one of the best color schemes Guards Red black top with tan supple leather. and
this Porsche of course has tons of power due to its factory 89K original miles. 3.6 L Carrera engine and being that this Porsche is manual it feels the way a classics Porsche should feel. Amazing. And being that its from California since new and very well taken care of over the years car looks amazing for its age.
This also means its rust free and accident free. Now for the body and paint The body on this car is in great shape being that its accident free also due to the fact that its a original California car it has zero rust. on the body and floor pans. As for the paint its also in great shape. having just a knick or two. being that this car was enjoyed just like the next owner will
so minor can not see in pictures. Does have minor bruise on back bumper. Interior The interior is in great shape for its age and being its all original driver seat does have some wear but the rest of the interior is excellent.
Showing no major rips or tears no cracks in dash or door panels carpet is stain and odor free. Car has never been smoked in. Still has its original Porsche smell Engine and Transmission Its original matching number engine and transmission are in great running order. Motor runs very smooth with no hesitation. Transmission shifts into all gears with out struggle. Clutch is also in great working order making it very easy and comfortable to drive. Convertible Top Convertible
Top is in great condition has great canvas with no rips or tears.
Top elevates up and down the way it should. Specially because top is barely ever used ( top is always closed barely ever opened) Being since it has such a classic cool feature the back window can be zipped open and closed. giving it a classic 911 soft window kind of feel. which is usually what I use to do. Miscellaneous This porsche comes with tons of service records. Have all the owners manuals even the warranty and service manual. every thing in the interior works. except for AC. Does not turn on. Also the number 2 which I don't have that should be next to Carrera was professionally removed.
being that I liked the way it looked without it. Also car comes with Original spare tire, Jack, tool kit, and Air Compressor. other minor faults to the vehicle are passenger side head light lense , and fog lamp lense our cracked. when taking it out on one summer night. and third break light was very worn and cracked so took it off but never had it replaced. which I also do not have. and is all pictured below also this Porsche is sitting on brand new Yokohama Tires all around fitted on to OEM Chrome Boxster S wheels. Also carries its original key set.

Here is everything I know about the car's condition and history, based on what I was told and what I have learned myself: The person I bought the car had it since around 2008 before I got the car in 2015 in IL.
Before that, it sat in garage of previous owner for many years and was inherited from seller's father, who I believe brought the car
up from TX (has TX inspection sticker on windshield) and probably started life in Nebraska, due to Linder Motors sticker on trunk. Linder Motors was a Chrysler dealer that opened in the early 1950's, but had a HUGE property with a vast used car business. So, this car was sold used there at one time - most likely as a trade in from the original owner in the late 1950's or early 1960's.
The mileage of 62, xyz is surely original, judging from the overall condition of the car and service stickers in the door jamb from decades ago when the mileage was 5X, xyz. This car even has its original battery holder and jack. Here is all work that's been done in past 2 years that I can think of: ÷
Engine removed, completely painted and reinstalled ÷ New oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, rocker cover gasket, intake gaskets, and belts. ÷ Professionally repaired left exhaust manifold and installed gaskets on both sides.
÷ All new ignition parts - spark plugs, ignition wires, cap, rotor, ignition coil, vacuum advance (NOS)÷ Rebuilt carburetor, new dash pot (NOS)÷ Replaced water pump and thermostat ÷ Replaced fuel pump and fuel lines ÷ New radiator hoses and coolant ÷ New hood insulation ÷ Rebuilt generator ÷ New battery ÷ Entire new dual exhaust system including the resonators at the rear and baffles in the rear bumper ends ÷ Wonderbar radio and foot switch
professionally repaired and tuned ÷ Speedometer professionally rebuilt and new cable installed ÷ New brake lines and hoses ÷ New top motor/pump ÷ New rear view day/night mirror So, the car runs, drives, and stops well right now and can be enjoyed and driven as it is.
However, if the car doesn ât sell and I keep it I will work on doing the following; this is everything that I think would need to be done to the car (at most) short of a complete cosmetic restoration (which this car is too nice for): ÷ Replace shocks (a bit bouncy)÷ Repair transmission fluid/torque ball leak ÷ Repair tear and seam separations in front seat and partially re-dye leather (too nice and original to completely redo)÷ Replace carpet with proper padded cut loop style ÷ Clean top (maybe dye), and polish rear plastic window ÷ Clean trunk mat ÷ Touch up paint on trunk and possibly front fenders and repaint passenger lower door that was previously repainted, then buff rest of car lightly.
I already have acquired the paint to do this in the original lacquer ÷ Replace fuel sending unit ÷ Fix headlights; most likely headlight switch or bad connection somewhere ÷ Tires still presentable, but should be replaced in next couple years simply because of age (previous owner installed them)÷ Exhaust needs to be adjusted; there is a small rattle where it is hitting something up front.
Slight exhaust leak is coming from somewhere; I think the exhaust manifold on passenger side needs to be re-torqued. ÷ Rebuild wiper motor and replace vacuum lines, if desired. I don't think this car will see much rain so this may not be worth doing.

1969 Pontiac Matador Red Firebird Convertible with a 400 cubic inch engine They simply don't make cars as extraordinary looking body styles like these anymore.
The front end or the side view of a muscle car doesn't come more interactiony then this classic. Especially in Red! I'm selling this Rare Red Firebird droptop with an open, clean, and
clear title. The Pontiac 400 engine was just treated to a new set of AC Delco spark plugs and a new set of spark plug wires in preparation for this sale. This Bird runs strong with a new battery from June of 2018. I haven't driven the car except around the neighborhood and the transmission shifts properly.
My buddy did new brake lines, so the brakes stop well! This 400 has a quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor and dual exhaust. I was given the cool dual snorkel air cleaner with the sale, but never had a chance to get the foam seals. There is a brand new air cleaner inside the base. The hood scoop inserts would need to be opened up to make the air cleaner functional, so the air cleaner is just
for looks at this point. There was also a new alternator installed just before I made the purchase, and I believe the water pump was also replaced. Somewhere along the line someone put on cherry bombs for the exhaust, so there is quite a rumble when this bird is fired up.
The pipe was missing on the passenger side between the cherry bomb and the tail pipe, so that was replaced. The dash pad is in good condition, and the speedometer does go up to 160mph. There is a near pristine 1969 Pontiac Owner's manual that will be included in the glove box. The entire interior appears in relatively nice condition as apparent from the pictures. There was some floor replacement work done followed by
brand new black carpet that sports a new set of four black carpeted floor mats.
This is an original bucket seat and console car. The aftermarket Pioneer AM/FM Cassette Player Super Tuner stereo is not hooked up, so getting the music system set-up will be left up to the new owner. This Firebird rides on a set of four Goodyear Eagle ST raised white lettered steel belted radial tires with good tread mounted on a set of four Pontiac Rally wheels with a set of four black PMD center caps, four beauty trim rings, and chrome lug nuts. The trunk floor has been patched, but is very sturdy and was coated with AC Delco black and aqua spatter spray to make it appear factory correct.
An original jack, jack stand and crow bar were nicely detailed and sit on a new trunk mat. The trunk also carries a full size Eagle ST spare tire.
