This buildwas completed approximately 20 years ago and inspired by a Thom Taylorrendering. It is powered by a crate motored Tuned-Port Fuel Injected Ram Jet 350c. i. Chevrolet and backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic
overdrive transmission. Total miles since build are only 5,324. NO TRADESThe body is one of 5 fiberglass bodies made by Greening Auto Company of Cullman, Alabama modeled after Jerry Kugel's aluminum bodies. The build was performed by The Custom Shop in Flanagan, IL by John Worgo using high-end Kugel Komponents.
These include: Kugel Muroc 112” custom frame painted to match thecar. The custom chrome & stainless steel 9” Currieindependent rear differential with 3.73:1 posi-traction gears and in-board discbrakes. The Hi-Boy independent front end with rack &pinion steering and stainless steel and chrome components. One-off Duval style windshield made by Kugel. Additional custom items for the
build include: Schober custom leather interior with a Lokar shifterand custom gauge cluster with Westach speedometer and combination oilpressure/water temperature and fuel/voltmeter gauges.
4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes The body is painted in PPG 2-stage urethane withcustom airbrushing by John Worgo and clear coat tinted in pearl. The grill is by Dan Fink with a Rootlieb aluminumhood. The K5 was a clean and dry original before the restoration. The exterior panels are all solid
and in good condition, the doors fit nicely but could be readjusted slightly as there is some minor door hang common with the K5's for the year.
The Torch Red Corvette paint still shows very well throughout, they is a small dent on passenger front quarter that could be easily fixed if you choose. All the chrome has been redone and shows very well. Interior is still in great shape, no rips or tears and nicely appointed. Engine detail is very nice overall. Full custom suspension with pro lift. Check out the pictures of undercarriage. Comes with hardtop thats in fair condition at best, needs to be repainted, owner never used the K5 with the top as it was always stored inside.

For sale this frame off restored 1960 Impala convertible equipped with power steering, power brakes, power top, front seat belts with roll ups, tissue dispenser, wheel cover spinners, fender skirts w/scuff pads, rocker panel mouldings, one GM accessory license plate holder, 2 speed wipers, day/night inside rear view mirror, rear seat speaker, dual rear
antennas, r/l outside mirrors, under hood lamp, front fender ornaments, chrome exhaust tips, and original style rubber floor mats.
Upgrades include TH350 automatic transmission. 605 steering box, one wire alternator, high torque starter, and pertronix ignition.
Brake system, exhaust system, fuel system, suspension, body to frame cushions, and all weatherstripping are new. Stainless has been polished to new condition. Headlamp bezels and tail lamp panels are chrome plated with all new lenses and bezels. Bumpers have been rechromed with new front license panel. All glass, emblems, black top, top well, and red boot along with the top motor/pump, cylinders, and new hydraulic lines
have been installed. All wiring harnesses, most switches, wide whitewall radial tires, N. O. S. wheel covers , outside door handles, trunk mat with matching side boards, hood insulation, original push button radio, face plate, and speaker, speedometer, rebuilt 2 speed wiper motor, wiper arms/, blades and gauges are new.
Engine is a 348 with an original rebuilt 4 barrel carb with only 7000 miles since rebuild. Radiator has been recored, new hoses and new belts installed. Paint is the original tuxedo black (900) (base/clear). Seat covers, side panels, red tuxedo carpet (874), sill plates, sunvisors/brackets and handles, gear shift handle, turn signal lever, arm rest reflectors and front
chrome, rear ash trays, door handles, glove box liner w/light, and horn ring are new.
Car is in a heated garage all winter. I also have a tripower intake manifold with 3 original carbs that I will send with the car when purchased at no extra charge. They have been torn apart and put in separate boxes with NEW carb rebuild kits. The shafts are frozen so I'm not sure if they can be rebuilt.

The body is extremely clean and straight. The body lines are tight and doors shut smooth. Beautiful paint job, shines like a mirror. Tires! This car has the beautiful Deluxe interior with Houndstooth seats! The seats are in perfect condition and are beautiful. The dash has no cracks. Carpet looks good with no rips.
The door panels look awesome as well. It has the full middle console with horse shoe shifter. Seats do come with the headrest, not mounted yet. It also has a the sweet middle console gauge package (brand new not hooked up. ) The convertible top is original, still in good shape but shows a few blemishes noticeable when up close.
