Only 4,118 units were produced during this limited run of Mustangs. These cars featured many distinct exterior enhancements meant to distinguish these cars from other standard Mustang coupes. They featured blacked out grills, rectangular fog lamps, chrome hood latches, white body striping, duck tail trunks, side scoops,
hood scoops, , and a unique Cougar/Shelby taillight pattern that make this a very unique car. The car under the previous owner underwent several upgrades including the first engine rebuild and cylinder boring that left her at.030 over the stock 289ci. Since I have owned the car I have done many extensive projects as well.
In 2015, I installed new steering components, front brakes and full suspension (front and rear) components as well as a rust repair under the battery tray. In 2020, she underwent a total engine rebuild (no cylinder boring just clean and polish), transmission overhaul, new rear brakes, new master cylinder, new brake lines, new exhaust, new radiator, and an engine compartment
paint and refurb. I also removed the CD player and ugly footwell speakers and replaced with stock AM radio (inoperable, looks only) and NOS foot kick panels.
New tires in 2020. Most all engine and under hood components are NOS parts. New battery. Lucas fog lights are in perfect shape as well. I installed sequential turn signal lights under the hood scoops. The car has some exterior blemishes, driver side door has various dings in the door that previous owners did a terrible job fixing. Interior is in great shape. Mechanically the car is in excellent shape after my 2020 project. She runs cool in the hot summer, and will crank over no problem after sitting for months.I'm super proud of this car and the work I've personally done over the years maybe too proud, but I don't have any urgency to let her go and I want to make sure she ends up in the right hands.

This classic beauty is a wonderful presentation of Chevrolet's golden age of motoring.
In a very desirable two-tone finish with hardtop coupe design, this 1950 all-original Styleline Deluxe Belair coupe was one of the best for its post-war redesign and it led the way for top-of-the-line models for Chevrolet. This 1950 is also the birth year
of the famous Belair. These early hardtops were created by Chevrolet starting with the convertible bodies and welding a hardtop on to them. Very unusual way to build a car with a roof. Unique three piece rear window and very small C pillars were different than the rest of the coupe offerings in 1950.
Powered by an inline 216 cu/in 90 hp “Thrift-Master” 6 cylinder engine topped with a new carburetor, it is mated to a 3 speed manual transmission housing a new clutch. This car glides down the road effortlessly on its 115” wheelbase. Recent updates/repairs include a new rear main seal, a new oil pan and valve cover gaskets. It is equipped with new front disc power brakes, 5 new radial tires,
an electric ignition, a new battery, dual exhaust, a new radiator, electric fuel pump and a completely new front suspension. The exterior is painted in its original two-tone combination of Grecian Gray and Falcon Gray on the roof.
All paint is in good condition. The luxurious original interior boasts a clock (inoperable), AM radio (works), push-button start, and classic original chrome ribbed head liner which is beautifully preserved, a steering column with manual shifter and signal light switch and full instrumentation. Full carpeting and original red leather seating and panoramic windows let you enjoy the drive..
