The engine is a 360 with with Comp Cams 268H Kit (Cam, Sprocket, Timing Chain, Valve Springs, Lifters, Pushrods, Valve Seals) installed during rebuild.
Engine electronics are all new, as well as the radiator, and the fuel system from tank to carburetor. The transmission is a 904 with stage II shift kit installed during build. There is less than
1000 miles on the rebuild of motor and trans. Car has disc brakes in the front and drum in the rear. Brake hoses are new and brake lines to rears are new as well. The exterior sports recent paint work with the color being Crimson Metallic Red. Door mirrors are new as well, the rest of the exterior bright work is original and could use chroming.
One of the trunk hinges trim is broken but I have already ordered the replacement. Windshield has a crack in the pictures but was replaced 3/13.

Wheels are in excellent condition 16 inches in size with newer comeho ecsta tires purchased and installed in 2017. The white interior is in great condition and looks/feels like your in a 1987 BMW showroom when you get inside. Rare overdrive option. Bought new in Southern California, the car remained with its original owners until 2005, when it was sold to a Volvo enthusiast and collector in Washington State and two years ago to me. The car comes with every service receipt from new as well as the original manuals and dealer paperwork.
This car is a textbook example of what happens when pride of ownership meets Volvo build quality. Not only is it in excellent running order, it is 100% rust free and original, a West Coast survivor car that's been cared for from day one. The car has had one repaint in its original color of Light Green, code 91.
This is arguably one of the best Amazon colors and was only available in 66 and 67. The paint quality on the car is to good driver standards - it shows a few chips here and there and some minor overspray on some of the rubber seals. The paint has good lustre and shine and overall presents very well, it's good enough for local shows but not so perfect that you'd be afraid to really
get out there and drive it. The body on this 122 is very straight with no dents or areas of waviness, I have not detected any bondo anywhere on the body and the undercarriage is likewise solid and original.
I have inspected the car from top to bottom and have found zero rust issues, pretty remarkable for its age. Panel fit is all good with consistent gaps. The glass are all original Sunex pieces in great shape, the windshield is a Volvo branded replacement and is crystal clear. Tires are classic Michelin XA4's with lots of tread and no sidewall checking. The side trim shows a few little dings, doing their job I guess. All of the chrome on the car is in good shape with no pitting. The
rear bumper has been rechromed, the front is still original and shows some age related fading.
Neither bumper have any dings or dents, another testament to this car's charmed life. Lights and lenses are all in excellent condition. The CA black plates you see in the photos are the ones issued to the car in 1966, they will be included with the sale. Also included: Every registration slip from 1966 onward. A huge stack of service receipts, chronologically arranged from 1966, detailing this car's complete service history. The original owner's manual, warranty booklet, warranty card and dealer directory Temporary license permit issued by the dealer when the car was first sold.
An anniversary card and oil change coupon from the selling dealer;1966 corresponence from Valvoline relating to a special warranty offer if their products are used. Clean trunk area with an OE Volvo replacement gas tank. The trunk exhibits no rust issues, one look under the parcel shelf and you can tell that this trunk was never wet. The green interior completes this classic 122 color scheme. The seats are in excellent condition with no splits, tears or scuffs, they're very nice. The rubber flooring shows some areas of wear, overall though it's hanging in there pretty well. The dash pad has one split above the instrument binnacle, these are very easy to replace and are readily available from suppliers.
Step plates are in good original condition, windlacing is new. Door panels are terrific, door weatherstripping is new. Nice steering wheel with no cracks. Back seat is excellent, side panels present as new. All gauges and lights work correctly, dash shows the optional hazard function, overdrive switch and indicator light. The heater and fan are very effective and will singe your socks in typical Swedish style. Radio works, original seat belts are in good shape. The B20 motor was rebuilt about 15,000 miles ago, it fires right up and runs super.
This Volvo cruises comfortably at 75 with power to spare - it runs down the road straight and true, brakes well, handles great, shifts perfectly and the overdrive makes long distance touring a pleasure. The motor has the Weber upgrade with a classic IPD intake and KN filter. The Crane electronic ignition means no more points to look after. The undercarriage shows an IPD swaybar, Bilstein shocks and a new exhaust mated to an IPD header, Floorpans and rockers are all original and just as nice as you'd want to find them, a standout example of Volvo's venerable Amazon series.

For sale this very nicely restored 1957 MGA fixed-head coupe.
The car underwent a full restoration in 2005; it has only been driven about 12,000 miles since (and only in nice weather) Excellent condition of the wooden floor boards. Paint quality is very good with no flaws to note and zero known rust; panels are straight with good gaps. Bumpers,
grille, trim, rubbers and glass are excellent. The wire wheels were replaced with new reproductions in 2010; tires are even newer. The underside looks very solid -- it's not detailed to a concours standard underneath, but both the wood and steel portions are in great shape with no known rot or rust.
Overall, the car shows to an exceptional driver standard --The interior shows very nicely, with leather seats, new carpet and floor mats, reproduction door panels, and a restored dash and banjo steering wheel. All gauges, switches, indicators and lights are working. Headliner and package shelf are excellent. The red interior looks striking against the Old English White exterior -- it's a very
attractive car, inside and out. Under the hood is a 1500 cc engine mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. The engine was fully rebuilt in 2005; the car has also seen a new clutch, fully rebuilt brakes, suspension and steering components.
The gearbox feels great and all synchros are good. The car feels remarkably tight and fresh -- it runs and drives as well as any MGA you will find. Comes with a folder full of records from the restoration.
