This Corvette has had only two owners since 1972. It wears much of its original paint which, despite some touched-up scratches here and there, is in remarkable condition and still grabs eyeballs wherever it goes. The chrome bumpers, rocker trim, and Rally wheels are a wonderful complement to the attractive code 946 Elkhart Green.
The unique C3 wiper door adds to the sleek look too. You can also remove the T-tops and rear window for a delightful open-air motoring experience. The engine is the original CKW-code 350 ci which carried factory ratings of 200 hp and 360 ft-lbs of torque. Note 1972 was the first year that power ratings changed from gross to net, meaning this is comparable to
1971s 270 hp figure. The 4-speed Muncie transmission really adds to the fun factor in these cars while the 3.36 rear end allows good highway cruising. This 1972 model represents the last of the C3 glory years as subsequent models lost many of the designs special features and saw power levels succumb to emission restrictions and inferior gasoline.
