cited the Buick Riviera as one of his most successful concepts. With its knife-edged contours and features such as hideaway headlamps and flush window glass, the Riviera impressed the likes of Sergio Pininfarina and Raymond Loewy.
The Riviera's outer beauty was matched by the elegance of its leather interior and, in the rare code A9 Gran Sport model, the power of its 425/360 HP dual 4-barrel V-8. The 1965 Riviera presented here is one of only 3,354 Gran Sports built, and it comes loaded with power steering and brakes, power windows, seats and antenna, AM/FM radio, air conditioning and tilt steering wheel. Its gleaming Seafoam Green Paint and Green interior combine to emphasize the timeless
beauty of Mitchell's great design. All numbers match, to our knowledge the engine has never been out and is all original under the hood.
It has the correct numbers matching engine, also stamped LX on the engine pad, correct dual carb numbers only on a dual quad 425, and the ever so important BS transmission stamp (only on Gran Sport models of that year). Also has the finned fender liners and correct steering ratio only found on a Gran Sport in 1965. Just to be clear, this is a RUNNING DRIVING car! Very little needs to be done to this car to bring to the next level. Also, AC components seem to be all there, may need new hoses, etc. hasn't had AC operable for some time.

1969 MGC GT Coupe Fully restored by a Pennsylvania marque specialist.
This could easily be one of the nicest GT Coupes to be found anywhere in the world! Only 243 miles since the restoration. 145 bhp, 2,912 cc OHV inline 6-cylinder engine, twin SU carburetors, four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive, independent front suspension with torsion
bars and wishbones, live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs, and front disc, rear drum hydraulic brakes. Following decades of remarkable success on the racetrack and sales floor with its beloved four-cylinder sports cars, MG first experimented with six-cylinder power in 1967 with the release of the MGC, which neatly bridged the gap in BMCs product line created by the demise of the Austin-Healey 3000.
Available in both Roadster and GT Coupe form, the new model looked much like the MGB, aside from a pair of pronounced hood bulges and larger 14-inch diameter wheels. To accommodate the larger engine, however, the MGC front suspension eliminated the coil springs of the MGB in favor
of a torsion bar and wishbone arrangement. With 145 horsepower and plenty of torque on tap, the MGC was the most powerful car MG produced during the era, trumping even the later V8-equipped MGBs of the mid-1970s.
Contemporary road tests revealed that while it was just one second quicker than its predecessor in the zero-to-60 mph sprint, the MGC offered a much higher top speed, exceeding 120 mph. An automatic gearbox was available, and in GT Coupe form, the MGC offered a slight performance edge over its Roadster sibling due to its improved aerodynamics. Production would only last three years however, with only about 9,000 examples ultimately built, including 4,449 GT coupes.

I have rebuilt the transmission, new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, gaskets, plugs, points, motor mounts. Replaced the radiator with an aluminum one. Original is a box and will
go with the car. I dropped it two inches front and rear. The front I used new 91 Ford Aerostar front springs. They are the exact same size as the original's. Cut one coil off and whala 2 inch drop. The rear has the 2 inch blocks. The original front springs come with the car as well.
I have the original birds eye head lights too. The previous owner completely rewired with OEM color key wires. The sunvisor is an original Fulton from the 40's painted to match. This is a great car, solid dependable.

Time to sell my '68 driver.
This car runs great, odometer reads 76,000mi. and has just had a complete service and a brand new set of Weber 40 IDF carbs, also installed was a rebuilt Bosch 050 distributor. Newly rebuilt pedal cluster. New tires. New shocks. The engine is quiet and smooth. The transmission shifts smooth and there is no grinding
when changing gears. There was some rust repair done by a local restoration shop where a new " Front Suspension Repair Panel, " Partition Wall" " Battery Box Support" and " Tow Hook" were professionally welded in place. All panels were purchased at Stoddard Porsche.
There are some areas that do show small rust bubbles(bottom of windshield) which should be addressed when the car is painted. The floors are solid. Rockers were done by previous owner and are solid but poorly fitted, and should be redone during repaint. The original color was " Irish Green"
