Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Enhance, maintain, and support the custom
software applications used within the department. These applications are web: based apps written using current software programming languages and SQL compliant relational databases.
This will require advanced level capabilities. Design and develop new or replacement web: based software applications to support the business and processing needs of the DMS. Work collaboratively with customers to understand and document automation and system requirements. Examples of work may include: : Design and model user interfaces, object behavior, database entities, and processes surrounding systems. Build applications according to documented specifications. : Develop test plans and ensure proper execution
of test plans. : Ensure adequate source code control and version control.
Train end: users and cross train team members in proper use of applications. Coordinate with OS systems developers to properly setup and configure servers and databases for proper functioning of Web: based applications. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: : Ability to code in multiple languages (C/SQL/Java Script) and work independently and in team environments. Ability to work across multiple platforms (MVC/. net/Ruby on Rails): Ability to configure and maintain Power Platform components including desktop and web flows. Ability to give attention to detail, spot errors quickly and maintain focus when working on long tasks.
Ability to provide general technological support and assistance for a broad range of business needs. Strong analytical skills and experience to critique and document specific business automation requests and needs, make recommendations for technical solutions, and participate in implementing or leading appropriate automation solutions. Ability to provide instruction to junior content managers and business automation specialists. Ability to write and maintain accurate and complete technical documentation. Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document workflow and other activities relating to the improvement of business operations.
Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to draft professional communications for both technical and non: technical audiences. Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of two years of experience in software, web: based, or cloud: based design and development.

COUNTY: LEON SPECIAL NOTES: Four (4) years of professional experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field such as cybersecurity, programming, engineering or similar is required.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field can substitute for the required work experience.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The Systems Programmer III performs a comprehensive list of security activities for Windows Operating System Server environment including: vulnerability scanning, event and traffic monitoring, incident response and remediation work, endpoint security toolset management. This position also assists in the maintenance and support of the Microsoft: Windows Operating: System Server environment and its related software.
