Learn quality inspection audit procedures for each station of the retread production line Learn and observe with no deviation from procedure what is the quality expectation of all tires leaving each station of the retread production line.
Perform daily audits on retread procedures at each station of the retread production line. Operate a designated computer using Excel, Work, Outlook and various programs to properly log, report daily assignments As designated, log and
report findings of each station to the Manager of Retreading. Report as designated on production quality issues and route causes immediately to the Manager of Retreading.
Stop production of the retread production line until guidelines are met at full expectations. Make final decisions on quality of product at “Final Inspection” for conformed customer expectatations. Train and support the inspection positions of “Initial inspection” and “Final Inspection” Visually inspect tires at all stations of the retread plant to determine quality of procedures. Log hours of training and material covered for each individual being trained. As designated by schedule audit each station of the retread
line for the following : PPE usage, cleanliness of station, uniform adherence, proper station procedures followed, quality procedures followed, all tools present at each station, all mechanical functions of each machine working and in good repair.
Inspect finished retread utilizing multiple step high pressure test machine to ensure integrity of casing Assists in distribution center activities as assigned Perform routine inspection and maintenance on plant equipment following manufacturers instruction Operate plant computer equipment and scanners Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free Perform weekly and monthly projects and assigned tasks Maintain personal grooming and company uniform standards Maintain company attendance standards Other duties as necessary EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred Experience: Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, No prior experience required BACKGROUND CHECKS : All offers of employment may be conditioned on receipt of a background check report and/or drug screen that is acceptable to Love’s.
