Job Summary: Designs and develops large scale information technology (IT) architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Defines systems strategies and solution roadmaps from

original idea to desired outcome. Applies knowledge of all IT disciplines affecting integrated processes, applications, data and technology to design solutions that positively impact the company.

Principal Responsibilities: Conceptualizes creative solutions, develops specifications and presents solutions to senior leadership for inclusion in the GIS global strategic plan. Performs planning, architectural development, modeling, analysis, and resource backssment and scheduling. backsses the compatibility and integration of proposed architecture solutions to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Supports change readiness initiatives as needed. Implements

transitional architecture to achieve strategic roadmap. Evaluates technology and components against existing and future needs Champions enterprise effectiveness methodologies.

Effects of erroneous decisions may be long-lasting, influence the future course of the organization and/or require the expenditure of extensive additional resources. Ensure organization's performance aligns with Cloud Business Office and Cloud Center of Excellence vision.

Provide organizational oversight and guidance to leaders who will: Drive efforts to establish and optimize Avnet's Cloud Cost tracking and performance through development, collection, and proactive monitoring of financial metrics. Lead the development, collection and proactive monitoring of Security Metrics in Azure which will drive security compliance throughout Avnet's Cloud Footprint. Spearhead training and certification programs which will enable engineers to improve adherence to Azure's Well-Architected Framework and ultimately increase Establish and manage large cloud projects and programs Work Experience: Typically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s): Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained. Distinguishing Characteristics: Provides leadership and direction through managers and senior managers. Promotion to this position requires the approval of the advocacy board. This role reports to the Structural Practice Leader. ACCOUNTABILITIES : Prepare construction plans, technical specifications, technical studies and reports. Prepare quantity take-offs and/or

calculations. Direct CAD designers and staff in the preparation and production of construction plans. Provide quality reviews of own work and work by others in accordance with Company's quality control program and processes.

Assist in business development and proposal preparation. Participate in strategic business development initiatives and marketing pursuits. Assist in construction administration and inspection of projects, including the review of shop drawings, preparation of inspection reports, material quantity verification, and reviewing and responding to contractor material submittals, RFI's, and change order requests. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications : The qualified candidate

Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of structural engineering principles. Demonstrate competence in the use and application of Risa3D, Risa-Foundation, Mathcad, Enercalc, and Auto CAD. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).

Ability to mentor and train other Structural Designers and Engineers-in-Training. Strong technical writing skills, and ability to convey engineering decisions and concepts to non-technical and technically based audiences. Ability to work within a variety of team environments, including varying team sizes and personnel. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Provide leadership and management of project teams. Prioritize and meet project budgets and multiple deadlines. Hold a valid motor vehicle license with the ability to be insured. Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time with some overnight travel.

Education and Experience: Must have a Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree or higher preferred) in Civil Engineering, or a related field, from an accredited college. Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) and able to obtain an NCEES record within 6 months of employment. Minimum 6-10 years of structural engineering experience. Experience with existing condition backssments and inspection of structures. Experience with NBIS bridge inspections. Experience with strengthening and repairing existing structures using Fiber Reinforced Polymers (FRP) a plus.
