Applied Signal Technology: WHO WE ARE This is an ONSITE position located in Anaheim, CA. This position is eligible for relocation assistance. Primary Responsibilities: We are currently seeking a Principal Reverse Systems Engineer with a strong background in telecommunications architecture
and analysis to support multiple programs. You will work with other experienced members in R&D on system development and deployments for the protection of our country.
You need strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a team environment. You will generate briefings and present material to team members, customers, and AST management as necessary. On occasion, position will require travel to customer facility. Qualifications/Experience Needed: Minimum of 8 years of practical experience in telecommunication systems architecture and systems engineering Experience working with customers, end users, hardware design teams, and software design teams Experience with reverse engineering of complex waveforms Experience with signal processing in developing proof-of-concept (Po C) use case scenarios and prototypes Experience developing system level designs, high level control and data interfaces Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience Security Clearance: Active and transferable U.
S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date U. S. citizenship is required, as only U. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (Do D) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements. #AST The salary range for this role is 103,000 USD - 215,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
