Job Specific Information: This position/Snr. Solutions-Architect works closely with business and technical stakeholders at all levels of the Fed Ex Enterprise to translate Fed Ex business strategy and initiatives into actionable strategic roadmaps. The Snr. Solutions Architect will work with Stakeholders and Architects to identify and define enterprise capabilities, build out a long-term roadmap, and create

SAFe artifacts, IRIS & Sparx design documents for the consumption of the teams to execute the initiatives with a value delivery approach. The position will understand the business need, leverages the industry and technology trends, develops the strategic business vision to recommend action plans across Fed Ex Enterprise and to Fed Ex Leadership.

This position works to develop an integrated view of the platform portfolio to enable better prioritization and investment decisions. The Snr. Solutions Architect will combine business strategy with technical and application portfolio knowledge to deconstruct complex concepts into smaller, simplified components and capabilities. The Snr. Solutions

Architect will provide mentoring for the development of those in less senior positions.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus: Experience working with and deploying systems which incorporate best practice principles, patterns, and tools leveraging Iaa S, Paa S, and Saa S principals Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work in a dynamic team environment and interact with resources from technical and non-technical organizations Superior communication and interpersonal skills. Proven executive presentation skills Strong understanding of business capability management strategies and solutions with hands on experience architecting, designing, implementing, and delivering solutions Experience in Cloud environments and application platforms like Pivotal Clouds Foundry, Azure, Google Cloud etc.

Experience in decomposing the demands more manageable, releasable, testable, and deployable increments Major project leadership experience, especially in global and enterprise platform projects and products Experience working with business and IT architects in requirements analysis and modeling tools (e. g. IRIS Business Architect, Sparx, ER Studio or modeling tools) Knowledge of Business Architecture Guild (BIZBOK) and The Open Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or other architectural frameworks Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience and architecture practice experience Broad knowledge of Fed Ex (or Transportation and Logistics industry) domain, business concepts and IT needs Software Testing and Release strategies Ephemeral environments API management and API-First philosophy Cloud & Reliability engineering Enterprise Application Integration with synchronous and asynchronous messaging Data streaming and global data distribution technologies Domicile/Relocation: Colorado, Springs, CO.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information Systems, business and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Five (5) years' work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirement. Additional Information Salary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $10,949.00 - $14,037.00. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role.
