CAD Drafter to join our team. In the role, you will be responsible for creating shop drawings and technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will need to be a detail-oriented person who is responsible for deadlines and enthusiastic about adding value to our team and able to achieve consistent and accurate work.

The CAD Drafter will be responsible for the following: Prepare, generate, and update shop and technical drawings us ing 3D modeling software (Solid Works).

Organize supporting information to produce bills of materials and product manuals. Assist in outlining fabrication and installation procedures. Help establish / maintain company's standards for CAD techniques.

Assist Engineers as needed to develop new designs and detailed drafting. Coordinate with project managers as necessary. Qualifications Degree program in computer aided design, drafting or similar. 1-2 years relevant work or project experience. Proficient in 3D modeling software - Solid Works a plus. 3D drafting experience a plus. Knowledge of structural steel fabrication detail (cutting, welding, machining) a bonus.
