Ensure compliance with by reading and interpreting drawings, parts lists, specifications, assembly history records, and test procedures to inspect, assemble and test products and subassemblies, Updates documentation as necessary. Utilizes Lean Manufacturing to execute production schedule and keep area safe and clean. Identifies and assists with implementation of improvements to safety, quality, productivity and efficiency including: assembly history records, test procedures, equipment and build
sequence. Assists with building and setting up new work cells and test set-ups using specialized equipment.
Performs failure evaluation, repairs and rework on product assemblies, subassemblies and components in accordance with standard procedures to meet specifications and tolerances. Mechanical assembly parts, subassembly tolerances and stack-up builds; Prep and insert electronic components onto circuit boards, hand solder component, pott components and touch-up or rework circuit boards. Conducts tests and records data to assist with Engineering for new products. Conducts Environmental Stress Screening Equipment (ESS): Vibe Table, thermal cycle, etc.
Performs troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on production and testing equipment. Provides training to other Manufacturing Technicians. modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to backss the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
