Position Summary: The finishing room operator will perform highly repetitive duties involving the finishing of various chain component parts by dynaburring, tumbling, blackening and other similar operations. Load dynaburr and tumbler with parts from elevated tub rack, operate machines

for standard specified times, clean as necessary and unload into tub on floor. Change solution and clean as necessary. Essential Job Duties: Work from both verbal and written instructions and keep records and counts of material.

Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective material and refer questionable cases to supervisor. Maintain equipment, tools and work area in proper manner. Follow standard safety, quality, and quantity regulations. Responsible for quality: Accept training in blueprint reading, use of gauges and measuring tools common to manufacturing, along with related statistical process control principles and other quality assurance procedures. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements: Must be knowledgeable in and practice all safety procedures.

Education and/or Experience: High School Degree or GED required. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and complete necessary production forms. Ability to speak effectively with fellow employees and/or customers. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, schedule, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables; problem solving ability. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, use hands/arms. The employee is regularly required to talk, hear at conversational level, and smell.

The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds. Moving/lifting greater than 50 pounds requires assistance from another employee or a lifting device/hoist. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Required Personal Protective Equipment: Employee is required to wear proper safety eyewear, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes at all times while on the plant floor.

Operate field equipment; work on equipment and plant facilities in a positive and professional manner. Essential Job Functions • Maintain equipment and inventory in top condition • Responsible for inventory control and shipping/receiving of soybeans and treatments • Schedules soybean treatment and delivery • Oversees warehousing of soybean seed and maintain proper condition of seed • Responsible for the maintenance and appearance

of soybean treatment equipment • Operate and maintain field agronomy machine(s) for maximum thru put and longevity. • Must cooperate and communicate with other employees in a positive and productive manner.

• Cross train and work in other departments when deemed necessary by supervisor. • Treat and handle patrons in a professional and courteous manner. • Attend meetings, schools and seminars when necessary. • Perform all duties in a safety conscious manner. Requirements • Ability to use necessary computer skills to run seed operation • Must have ability to obtain and maintain seed treater’s license • Must have, or have the ability to obtain and maintain, a CDL with HZM and commercial

applicator’s license. • Demonstrated planning, organization, time management and problem-solving skills • Previous applicator or related experience and/or training to demonstrate the ability to custom apply fertilizers, crop protection products and do minor equipment maintenance.

• Demonstrate basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions and decimals along with the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Other Skills/Abilities • Proven professional communication and customer service skills • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment • Ability to work hours other than those considered normal to meet seasonal demands • Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds FS.

Will Perform: Safely provide maintenance support to our fast-paced sheet plant that is equipped with technology ranging from simple to state of the art for the corrugated industry. Utilize both excellent mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication) and electrical/electronic skills and knowledge (PLCs, A/C, D/C motors and drives, schematics) in our continuous process manufacturing environment to achieve machine uptime metrics.

Work positively with maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot and solve problems. Will be engaged in preventative maintenance processes in assigned areas. The Skills You Will Bring: At least one year

of successful mechanical and electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing facility. On-the-job success in safety, attendance and quality of work expected.

Maintenance experience in corrugated a plus. Strong knowledgeable of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, electrical and electronics technologies.
