The teacher/assistant teacher is responsible for monitoring children in their assigned class, preparing and teaching the provided curriculum, and working with our team to enhance the learning environment at Curiosity Academy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Create, prepare and facilitate creative learning activities that are fun and educational Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured
lessons and student-led learning, free play, bathroom breaks, lunch time and rest time for students Collaborate with teachers and leadership to foster, enhance and provide a nurturing learning environment Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with students and parents Deliver reports on student progress to leadership Maintain a clean and organized classroom Early Childhood Experience CDA (or childcare related degree) preferred Flexible in challenging situations Strong organizational skills Able to build strong relationships CPR and First Aid Certification (training provided) Fire and Water Safety Certification (training provided) State and Federal Clearances Basic computer proficiency
