Lab, which includes drawings for the integration of COTS Hardware (HW), and prototype or engineering SLS development HW with COTS HW to create HWIL flight equivalent test facility and Engineering Development Test Systems (EDTS). Candidate will develop, maintain and release electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data in accordance with AIL Operations Plan, D, industry standard, ASME-Y-14.41.

Candidate shall design computer hardware and communication integration engineering systems to include: simple requirements documents based on Engineering Development Test System (EDTS) design record, hardware layouts, detailed parts lists, assembly sketches,

interconnect diagrams, network diagrams, and functionality validation check lists. Employer shall review the sketches and checklists, adjudicated and store in a Secure File Share for configuration management and control.

The candidate will have Read access to the File Share. Candidate shall assemble hardware per sketches and perform operational checkout of the assembled hardware. Candidate shall build / learn to build cables using COTS components, such as D-sub and 38999 connectors. Cable building involves soldering and stripping wire and working with small components. Candidate must be comfortable working with sharp and high temperature tools. Candidate shall reconfigure computer hardware

when testing demands it. This involves careful configuration changes of cable connections, adding and removing cards from server computers, and modifying cables when needed.

Candidate shall organize procurement efforts for COTS and custom hardware. Procuring custom hardware involves coordinating with Responsible Engineers (REs), managers, and buyers. Procurement requires careful attention to detail when working with large spreadsheets and regular updates to managers. Required : Degree and typical experience in project/design engineering: Bachelor's degree with two or more years' experience The successful applicant must have strong communication skills and be capable of working in a multi-tasking environment while supporting multiple activities concurrently.

The ability to rapidly pick up new lingo in a new environment is highly valuable here. The applicant must be capable of working with minimal supervision. Employees are encouraged to take ownership and responsibility for projects they are working. The successful applicant is teachable and works with constructive feedback. The applicant must be able to draw key data out of large engineering reports and diagrams. Some travel may be required. Our applications include radar, EOIR, RF signatures, IR signatures, RF testing, electronics and systems integration, antennas, image processing, GPU acceleration, low observable design, metamaterial design, EMI simulation and analysis, machine learning, RF signal processing, RF tracking algorithms, communications systems, and more.

Our electrical engineers are responsible for: Evaluating electrical systems, products, components, and applications through design, testing, and implementation. Designing, conducting, and documenting analysis to verify requirements, identifying and solving functional and performance gaps, and generating data

to support customer requirements/reports. Carrying out feasibility studies for new technical projects/programs. System level analysis, modeling and simulation analysis/development and development, testing and analysis of various electrical systems.

Deriving requirements from customer needs and flow requirements down from a system description to subsystems and components. Designing, producing, and testing components and systems; and Complying with various standards to meet safety and performance requirements. Required Qualifications: B. S. M. S. or Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related technical field. 3+ years of relevant experience Must be a US citizen.

Active Secret clearance Desired Qualifications: TS/SCI clearance Electrical engineering experience in the defense industry.

Design experience. Analysis tool-building experience. Acquisition, tracking and/or algorithm development. Advanced modeling skills and optimization. Knowledge of domain specific radar principles, including signal processing, target acquisition; target tracking, resource management, discrimination, and battle manager interfaces. Signal processing or communications; acquisition, tracking and/or discrimination algorithm development; waveform design and analysis; pulse data analysis. Experience with GMD/BMDS systems; and MATLAB, FPGA, Python, Fortran, C++ or related software experience.
