Knowledge and understanding of technical and cost issues related to selection of design features within the discipline. Prior experience on executing control system works in EPC projects. Knowledge of control system design including digital and analog control logic, control system network architecture, allocation of facility control system I/O, graphic displays, and acceptance tests. Previous experience preparing estimated quantities, jobhour estimates, and schedule planning. Prior work experience being responsible for the engineering progress and performance reporting within a project earned value management system and trending program. Skill in leading the technical work of less experienced engineers, designers and/or drafters who share in the design effort.
