Must possess a valid California drivers license and a good driving record. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little or no supervision. Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems. Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices. Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear. Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.

Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery. Assist in the installation of new and used equipment as instructed by manager. Upgrade existing equipment as instructed by manager. Help in writing and revising PM checklist and procedures for assigned equipment. Assists in training of junior level mechanics. Perform preventive maintenance of equipment. Identification of spare parts. Documents all work performed daily and provides proper pass down, sharing of information from the shifts activities. Submit purchase order request for parts. Other duties as assigned.
