Description: This program provides services to more than 50 children and young adults between the ages of 6 and 21 who have Autism or mental health issues. The program is designed to integrate the individual into the community by facilitating the
development of critical skills relative to independent living, social, self-care, communication and work. These are Part Time positions 20 - 29 hours per week However, these positions could be combined with other openings in Hagerstown to provide FT Hours!
Work schedules Sun through Sat - variable day, afternoon, and evening hours. Pay rate $16.00 per hour Work locations are available in the Hagerstown, MD, Cumberland, MD, and Fredrick, MD areas. We will consider anyone who: Has a High School Diploma/GED Is 21 years old or older Possesses a valid driver's license for at least one (1) year, but prefer two (2) years, not counting any time on a learner's permit. Can pass a basic reading
comprehension and math test, a background check, and pre-employment screenings which include a drug screen and physical/fitness test.
Is physically fit in order to lift and transfer at least 50 pounds Has the ability to provide direct care and implement proper restraint techniques to ensure the health and safety of the persons served.
