What you will be doing: Layout, fabrication, assembly and installation of both, carbon and stainless-steel piping as related to contract drawings Perform mathematical calculations pertaining to the manipulation of angles such as rolling offsets, cutback of fittings, and takeout between welds and other fits Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods Qualifications/ Skills Stable means of transportation to job sites 5 + years of continuous pipefitting experience desired 3 + years of Commercial HVAC pipefitting experience desired Must be able to interpret construction blueprints
and plans or build to customer specification pipe systems, supports, and related equipment Lay-out, fabricate, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
These systems may vary in shape, size, and pressure Thread pipe using a pipe threading machine Secure pipe to structures with brackets, clamps, and hangers using hand tools and power tools Know proper procedures to fit welded pipe & sweat pipe Must be able to work with minimal direction from foreman Communicate clearly verbally, in handwriting, and electronically Ability to motivate, coach, evaluate and provide guidance to all craft workers exposed to the project Strong organizational and planning skills; Able to effectively allocate and develop resources Participate in on-going training and career development Maintain safe work environment by establishing and enforcing safety policies and procedures; ensure compliance with federal, state and local jurisdictions High school diploma or equivalent Pass background check and drug screen Check us out online: HVAC installer, journeyman, installation technician, HVAC HVAC Technician, AC installer, AC Company
