As an Antenna Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of new and cutting edge consumer electronics for the Home and mobile space. You will work as part of this team to deliver innovative antenna solutions that push the limits on what's possible for radiation performance, while achieving the goals of our industrial design. You will design,
test, optimize and implement compact and efficient antenna solutions for 5G cellular, WLAN, Bluetooth, IEEE 802.15.4 and new application areas. The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $119,000-$175,000 bonus

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Antenna, RF, or Electromagnetics, or equivalent practical experience. Experience designing Antenna system solutions for Consumer Electronics, including wearable devices or mobile phones. Experience with Electromagnetic Simulation tools (e. g. CST, XFDTD, HFSS) and board design, board bring-up, and desense mitigation. Experience using different wireless communication systems. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or Ph D in Electrical Engineering, focusing on Antenna, RF or Electromagnetics.
Experience using common RF test equipment (e. g. spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, protocol and signaling testers) and antenna chambers. Experience with Scripting and Automation tools for data collection and analysis. Experience with antennas used in wireless consumer products. Understanding of regulatory requirements (e. g. FCC, IC, CE) and their respective certification process, cellular industry standards and specifications (e. g. CTIA, PTCRB, Wi Fi alliance), and schematic creation and PCB design tools. Passion for driving new technologies in RF, electromagnetics and wireless communication.
- Create and drive OTA factory test plans/stations for mass production. - Design antennas for compact consumer electronics with high-performance and manufacturability. - Test antenna and wireless over-the-air (OTA) performance. - Produce and communicate all OTA performance and progress information to relevant audiences, from engineers and program managers to executives. - Help develop antenna architecture with RF, mechanical, industrial design, and PCB layout engineers. for software test initiatives. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of manual test methodologies and software API automation methodologies within the Healthcare software domain. What You'll Do: Design, develop, and execute test cases in alignment with a cross functional team tasked with delivering project-based software releases.
Summarize test results and metrics including test methods and measurement systems in accordance and per the defined test plan. Design specific tests with an eye towards end-to-end use cases that will exercise all modular areas of the overall software solution. Design and/or execute test cases to aid overall test efforts for the assigned project and product
release. Perform analysis to determine effectiveness of test methodologies and to identify continuous improvement approaches. Develop test artifacts as required by the product development process for the business.
