The float RN position will support the radiation and medical oncology triage team and provide back-up coverage as a primary RN for radiation oncology and medical oncology. This position may require limited travel to other Treasure Valley SLCI sites to support the team if primary RN coverage is needed. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to manage complex patients by coordinating care, following up after

appointments, and educating patients and their families. This position is responsible for backssing patient needs over the phone and in person. Excellent critical thinking and backssment skills will be required to evaluate patients of all ages receiving radiation and medical oncology treatment.

This RN is a keystone to the complex, high-quality, compassionate care that Idaho has come to expect of our organization. It will be essential to promote a positive patient experience with compassion and kindness while integrating technical skills, scientific knowledge, and a caring attitude both in the clinic and through the triage process to aid those living with cancer and their families.
