Our Seasonal Water Technicians provide essential support to our mission by performing general water distribution tasks. Primary responsibilities: Exercise water meter valves (valve box located in the ground) in residential areas using crowbar to remove lid to access water meter and a valve key to turn the valve.

Clean out valve boxes with vacuum trailer. Prep and paint fire hydrants using wire brush, paintbrush, paint sprayer, and generator. Clean well houses and booster pump stations in remote locations. Drive district vehicle equipped with safety lights

and trailer. May assist facilities/maintenance staff and/or assist with flushing hydrants. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid Colorado driver's license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.

Must pass a background check. Must be able to safely operate vehicles and equipment, read, record and interpret information. Must be able to communicate with other employees and the public. This position consists primarily of field work and requires full range of physical motion with hand/eye coordination: for frequent standing and walking including on uneven terrain; for the use of tools and equipment; to climb stairs, equipment, and ladders. Position includes the

occasional lifting and/or moving of items up to 100 pounds and regular lifting of 20-50 pounds of equipment and tools.

Basic knowledge of fresh produce preferred. Experience in replenishment, cycling of product, RF (radio frequency) scanners and other returns related functions preferred. Skills Must have strong reading, writing, and be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Ability to perform work assignments at an acceptable productivity level. Able to effectively communicate and interact with others in a professional manner. Physical Demand Stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach,

push, pull, squat, turn the body, and walk. Lift and move cases (selecting a product and placing on a pallet) ranging in weight up to 75 lbs continuously to and from heights ranging from floor to knee, waist, shoulder, and overhead.

Use hands and fingers to peel and stick labels on cases. Handle and feel objects and/or equipment controls; reach with hands and arms. Must have the ability to talk and hear; must be able to hear warning horns on moving machinery and equipment. Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close and distance vision, depth perception, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
