A day in the life of a Propane Filler Starting out, your day to day will consist of LOTS of training. About 6-8 weeks of training in every system of the testing environment.
We are big on safety here at CK, so we take our time to ensure you are FULLY trained before turning you loose on your own. During this training time, you will be staging cylinders to be tested while also learning what each cylinder type is, what the recertification process for that cylinder is, and the components that are needed to properly test cylinders. Separates conforming and nonconforming parts according to finish quality, separating parts for further processing as follows: light (repaint), sanding, or stripping as specified by the Line Lead Packer, Production Line Supervisor, and/or Quality Assurance Department. Maintains work area
in a clean and orderly fashion. Maintains and cleans the packaging area on the production line.
Reports to the Line Lead Packer, Quality Assurance Department and/or Production Line Supervisor any potential finish problems with a part. Required Qualifications: High school diploma/general education degree (GED); and/or three to six years related experience or training preferred. Must have knowledge of shipping, receiving, warehouse, and material handling experience including experience operating
a forklift. Must pass Dynacast forklift training course and driving test.
Basic computer ability is required. Minimum of 5 years forklift experience required; must be forklift certified.
