Position Responsibilities Safe and efficient operation of production equipment to include: Purity filling equipment. Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP's) in detail without deviation. Collect routine product samples and perform routine testing to inspect the cup and seal for leaks, defects to ensure quality specifications are met. Follow all established aseptic controls and procedures. Set-up
and use the appropriate portion control cup and seal materials in accordance with the production run schedule. Set-up coders, validate product codes in accordance with code specifications.
Identify and effectively communicate any out-of-specification product conditions. Follow the established notification protocol. Perform routine equipment adjustments per product type. Safe operation of a lift truck. Accurately and neatly complete production records and documents. Perform equipment change-overs, CIP/SIP, clean-up and equipment set-up. Perform environmental controls. Perform product reclaim and rework operations in accordance with reclaim guidelines. Support internal and external
audits. Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures.
Follow all established GMP's and Food Safety requirements. Cross-train with other departments. Perform good housekeeping within established housekeeping guidelines. Material Handling: Move pallets of frozen goods from production areas to storage locations, freezers, or loading docks, ensuring proper stacking and secure placement to prevent damage or accidents.
Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control by accurately scanning, recording, and verifying incoming and outgoing products using computerized systems and handheld scanners. Retrieve and stage products for outbound shipments, following the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method to maintain
product freshness. Palletize and stack frozen food products according to established guidelines and specifications, ensuring stability and integrity during transportation and storage.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and comply with company policies and procedures. Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge in forklift operations and material handling. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the forklift, such as monitoring fluid levels, tire pressure, and reporting any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
