Perform daily cleaning of the machine, monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning, tool replacement, and will require insert change out on tooling. Assists with ensuring production is running in accordance with the production and blend schedules as determined by Scheduling Manager. Performs routine walks of the facility to monitor production and assists operators in the resolution of any production issues. Becomes familiar with and understands the sanitation procedures and performs sanitation procedures as needed. Becomes familiar with and understands the Warehouse Management System and assists with problem resolution as needed. Performs CIP and Production piping connections as needed. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.

Displays willingness to make decisions and exhibits sound and accurate judgment. Makes timely decisions and communicates changes effectively to all appropriate personnel and departments. Reviews production orders and schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations. Coordinates with Scheduling and Production Managers to assist in the preparation of blending, production, and sanitation schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.

Reviews and signs-off on related HACCP documentation, and alerts QA Manager and Production Manager of any discrepancies. Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization. Participates in Shift Transition Meetings to facilitate solid communication of pertinent information to on coming and off going Production Supervisors. Works to resolve worker grievances and alerts Production Manager and Human Resources Manager as appropriate. Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data and reports. Reviews daily attendance reports and communicates changes and necessary information to Payroll Department.

Aware of efficiencies and juice loss and works steadily to meet plant goals. Conducts end of shift meetings for summarization to management to provide information to the floor and feedback to management. Responds promptly to customer needs and completes administrative tasks correctly and on time. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises hourly non-supervisory employees in the Production Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws as a responsible and ethical agent of the company.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Education and/or Experience: Associate degree (A. A. ) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum of three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. AND AUTHORITIES: The responsibilities and authorities for this position include, but are certainly not limited to: Incoming/Outgoing Shipments Unload all incoming material from trucks. Count the number of skids and cartons being signed for and log on the Product Sign-In Sheet QF-7.4.8.

Any collect shipments must be authorized by the office prior to acceptance. Remove all packing slips from shipments and put them in the Incoming Inspection tray in shipping office. After receiving and verifying carton and skid counts, all raw materials are to be moved to Incoming Inspection. This must be done as you unload the truck. All rejects must be isolated, and a copy of the packing slip put on the

box. The original packing slip goes to the Shipping Clerk. (Follow reject procedure). Label and or scan incoming shipments into system as required. When moving plated material from Inspection to Warehouse, parts must be staged according to customer and part number - meaning separate skids per part number when possible.

Tape, shrink wrap and band all truck shipments in a neat, professional manner. Be sure labels are on neatly, are correct and are facing out. Some shipments must be written up by skid and the skid MUST have a " this skid contains" sign which will include the skid number, each part number and amount per box and total cartons on the skid. Write up all out-going shipments

and turn into the office no later than 2:00 P. M. All write up's must include the part number, pieces per carton, total cartons, weight and skid count.

Stage and Ship as required. Scan containers into system using hand scanners. Generate Shipping Docs out of system for each shipment. Send and Verify ASN's as required Prepare shipments in UPS system. Perform cycle counts as request. Raw Warehouse/Raw Staging Area Put all material away after Incoming Inspection is finished ensuring that each skid has the appropriate Identification on it (Ex. 8 ½ x 11 sheet with raw/plated part #). Material must be neat and organized in the raw warehouse at all times. Organization of the warehouse.

Keep aisles clean and neat. Raw material must be put away in proper locations. Perform cycle counts as requested. Completes other duties as assigned.
