This position does provide flexible hours and a MINIMUM requirement to work 5 days a month, with one weekend a quarter if needed.
Most shifts are Mon-Fri, early morning to mid-day, and some days we leave the office as early as 5AM. Most shifts are 3-4 hours, but can be up to 12 hours long. This job assumes responsibility for and provides for the delivery of health promotion activities including screenings at all Corporate Wellness events for the promotion of the organization,
its facilities and partner facilities and physician staff to both corporate clients and the community. Assists licensed and ancillary team members with assigned responsibilities and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for the delivery of health fairs, screenings and health education events.
Assumes responsibility for and provides care, clinical expertise and education for screening participants. Exhibits sensitivity to cultural, ethnic and religious diversity in all interactions; maintains involvement in activities aimed toward the achievement of the department's strategic goals and objectives and demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for his/her own practice

Provides care based on these criteria, safety and related criteria appropriate to the clients served backsses learning needs and implement teaching strategies appropriate for the diverse needs of the patient, family and other groups or disciplines. Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.

NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible. Mechanical lifting devices (carts, dollies, etc. ) or team lifts should be utilized. Must be able to stoop, bend, reach and grab with arms and hands, manual dexterity. Frequent travel throughout and between facilities as well as to and from health fairs and screening events required. Use of personal vehicle required. Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue.
The incumbent works in a patient care area; works in an area where patients enter; works directly with patients; and/or works with specimens that could contain diseases. There may be an occupational risk for exposure to all communicable diseases. Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
