This Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Senior Scientist with scientific and technical expertise in Cell Therapy and/or T-cell biology to join our growing Cell Therapy Engineering group in Gaithersburg, MD. Within this position, your work will develop novel cell therapy platforms and products by integrating protein engineering and synthetic biology with T-cell immunology. You
will design and conduct laboratory experiments, develop methodology and then interpret and utilize your scientific data to further develop our technology and products.
Typical Accountabilities Independently conducts in vitro immunologic drug discovery experiments by applying techniques of molecular and cellular biology. Conducts hands-on primary immune cell culturing and immune functional assays. Proactively contributes to experimental plans and designs. Supports a team and works collaboratively with project managers to ensure the efficient relay of information and forward translation of data. Maintains a well-developed understanding of approaches to drug discovery and applies a broader

Expertise in multi-color flow cytometry experiment design, acquisition, and analysis (30+ colors and phospho/intracellular). Proficiency in cell culture of established cell lines and primary human immune cells In vivo experience, including study design. Desired Qualifications Familiarity with gene editing techniques (e. g.
