The position will ensure that AHT quality systems are being followed and play a large part of driving change and improvement within the Quality Management System (QMS). This person will also review paperwork before shipping to some specific customers, take the lead on identifying (and gathering) teams to address customer opportunities for improvement (OFIs) and help establish rerun/restart metrics

to drive improvement. This position requires frequent auditing of processes. This position will report to the Corporate Quality Systems Manager, with dotted line responsibilities to Monroe Plant Operations.

Job Responsibilities Lead general quality activities including control of quality records, monitoring quality objectives at all levels, implement, monitor and help maintain the QMS as part of the overall corporate QMS system. Understand, create, and upkeep QMS plant documentation with a special emphasis on creating documentation to support customer and internal audit activities, and certifications to external customer requirements. Lead and participate in Root Cause Correction Action

(RCCA) efforts for Opportunities for Improvement (OFI's) to internal and external customers with customer communications as required.

Promote continuous improvement by coordinating action on continuous improvement suggestions, lead and manage employee suggestion programs for the facility and drive suggestions to closure using a team approach. Assists with facility quoting activities. Conduct and complete customer supplier audits and lead customer visits when required. Manage and drive calibrations to closure by making sure responsible areas get calibrations completed, approved, and closed. Project manage high level/ technical programs (assigned as needed) Learn and lead PPAP for plant on new programs and part introduction.

Learn and perform CQI-9 audits and customer submittals as required. Serves as a key auditor for monthly safety walk-throughs. Learn the lab release process to understand and make improvements and support when required. Ability to display AHT core values of passion, teamwork, integrity, loyalty, professionalism and service. Education/Experience BA/BS degree or equivalent experience with quality specific experience Certifications in Quality ASQ, CQT or CQE a plus Understanding of philosophies such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma and/or Value Stream Mapping activities a plus Qualifications/Competencies Self-motivated and an advocate of continuous improvement, with focus on efficiency improvements and cost reductions Ability to drive tasks to completion while meeting quality and schedule targets Excellent oral and written communication, including the use of Microsoft products Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and report progress to management High level of attention to detail Heat treat experience a plus Prior experience with safety/environmental compliance a plus Why Join the AHT Family?

Any employment agency, person or entity that submits an unsolicited resume does so with the understanding that Dana will have the right to hire that applicant at its discretion without any fee owed to the submitting employment agency, person or entity.
