in a nimble and fast-paced production environment. Essential Functions: Perform Analytical, Chemical, Physical and Organoleptic Testing on raw materials, in-process samples and/or finished products.
Calibration of equipment Package and prepare samples for shipment to third party testing locations Respond to internal calls to answer technical product questions Participation as a member of the plant safety team Attend all plant quality meetings Read and properly interpret documents such as, GMP manuals, HACCP programs and procedural manuals. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in food science, dairy science, chemical engineering, or biology preferred. Intermediate or advanced
with MS Office applications including Excel. Willingness to roll up sleeves and perform a variety of tasks necessary to support the organization.
Proven leadership skills. Strong analytical thinking skills and quick to acclimation to systems. Prior experience in manufacturing setting desired but not required.
