The Appointment Tech will be under the general supervision of the Hospital Services Manager and Clinical supervisor. This role will work directly with our surgeons by providing excellent customer experience and outstanding patient care. Responsibilities include greeting clients, obtaining histories, documenting in our hospital information system, educating clients, assisting with imaging (radiographs, ultrasounds, and CT scans), venipuncture and assisting the surgical team where needed.
An ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, work well in a team dynamic and possess the ability to multitask. In this position you will be relied upon for client education, safe and effective restraint.
About You: Proficient in, venipuncture, restraint, performing lab work, taking radiographs, maintaining thorough and accurate patient records, and administering first aid and medications.
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Fundamental knowledge of windows-based computer programs. Ability to recognize and seek guidance in all client-related cases where protocol does not apply.
