This composition doll does not have maker s markings, but back in 1997 someone hand wrote on the back Joann From Japan 30 yrs.

This mechanical baby doll does not have any markings, but doing a google image search it appears to be Rosko Japan anywhere from 1940's to 1960's.
The battery compartment is corrosive, so I have not attempted to place new batteries in it, to check if it still functions properly. The clothes are certainly showing age & the face should clean up,
