Celebrate employees’ achievements! Emphasize property-wide safety and security through training, inspection, and preventative enforcement. Participate in development of financial objectives and operating budgets.

Consistently meet the budget in all areas of cost control. Partner with the Food and Beverage Director to give final approval of all menus and pricing. Collaborate with the Director of Sales to execute and improve the annual marketing plan. Work closely with sales on booking groups, and build repeat guests, and corporate accounts. What You Bring 8+ years as a Hotel General Manager with Event facilities, and multiple Food and Beverage outlets. 10+ years in Hospitality Management preferred. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality/Restaurant Management, Business or equivalent field required.

Certified Food Manager Certification, Allergens, TIPS Certification, and CPR. Experience with all aspects of hotel and restaurant operations, and sales including budgeting, expense management, inventory, payroll and labor costing, staffing, marketing, owner relations, and P&L management. Preferred systems knowledge and experience with Hilton On Q/PEP, Delphi, and Micros Symphony Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences! Desire to work with local education partners on workforce development in the Battle Creek area. Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed based on guest demand.

JOB DESCRIPTION: (All positions for this job are located in Battle Creek, MI) The Cultivation Technicians will be responsible for the harvest of the plants, which will include de-leafing, cutting down of the plants, hanging the plants and spraying the plants, and transferring the harvested plants to the drying room. The job can be described as fast-paced, highly repetitive, with a great deal of manual labor while working in various temperatures

from 60 to 80 degrees. The ideal candidate will have a positive “can-do” attitude and respect team members, the plants, and the facility. They should have the ability to manage high stress, high urgency situations and be flexible and adaptable when a problem requires it.

Most importantly, attendance and punctuality are critical to the success of this role. RESPONSIBILITIES: Take Direction from Managers and Leads. Ability to work collectively and respectfully both independently and in a team environment. Follow all safety standards and abide by PPE requirements. Ensure a high standard of quality during all processes. Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all employees. Set

goals and meet deadlines. Capable of completing all relevant repetitive tasks regularly and consistently with a high level of attention to care.

Participate in ongoing education and professional development, as needed. Identifies hazards, reports accidents, incidents, and near-miss situations through the proper channels and in a responsible manner so that they can be investigated, determined, and eliminated to prevent future occurrences. Maintains job-related confidentiality. QUALIFICATIONS and EDUCATION: At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US with proper employment documentation. High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture preferred. Previous manufacturing/ laborer experience preferred. Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to carry that weight a minimum of 50 feet without mechanical assistance. Working safely in a warehouse setting. Able to sit for extended periods of time (8+hrs a day) Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time. Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork. Record plant growth patterns, plant temperatures, stresses, and condensation points.

Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of all greenhouse equipment. Must clearly convey any information about plants, machines, and activities within the cultivation function. Assist with daily tasks in reproductive, vegetative, and flowering stages. Cooperate and assist other cultivation leads and associates in the areas of climate, irrigation, growing techniques, production trials, labor savings techniques, and in any areas where assistance is required and as requested by other growers, maintenance, and management. Cooperate with, collaborate, and assist with cross-functional cultivation and production departments.

Remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations. Ability to communicate through various formats, including email and phone. ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPOSURE: Exposure to fertilizer, dust, odors, exceedingly high heat, extremely low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables.
