The 1942 Knucklehead model FL is the high performance 74 cubic inch 48 horsepower machine that was advertised as weighing 535 pounds and capable of a top speed of 105 mph.
Only 799 civilian model Harley Big Twins were built in 1942 due to the US entering the war. Wonder how many are still around and running and not in personal museums or private
collections? That makes this a very rare, low production machine. These pre-war OHV Knuckleheads and seldom come up for sale. Here is one with great VIN stamps and pad, and matching belly numbers. Pretty much all the 1942 Harley Big Twins (Knuckleheads and Flatheads) would have been built prior to the December bombing of Pearl Harbor, because after that most of Harley's activities were in support of the war effort.
A regular rider, this FL kickstarts easily, idles well, shifts and rides as it should. Decent brakes, good charging, nice handling, and no mechanical surprises. Most of the bike is genuine Harley-Davidson parts, other than the aftermarket speedometer, floorboard inserts, 12-volt
generator (for better lights and night riding) and muffler. Easy to switch back to 6-volts if desired. Genuine Harley headlight, genuine Harley forks, frame, tins (repainted), tank badges, Linkert carb, engine and transmission.
Looks to be real Harley air cleaner and saddle. It starts right up with little effort, idles and runs well through all the gears. Tracks smooth and straight down the road and is about as issue-free as you could expect from a 77 year old motorcycle. Clean title.

Up for sale is a 1972 Boat Tail Super Glide.
It starts easily and runs strong with lots of power. Fresh battery this year. It âs mostly been in storage for the past several years, so will need all the usual things gone through. Frame and engine numbers match, and has a clear Ohio title in my name. Front and rear brakes work, as well as clutch,
transmission, and charging system. Tires are old and should be replaced. Engine does not smoke. Lights and horn work properly. It does not leak oil excessively. It's water you see under the bike in the pictures, not oil. Tank has no dents at all. I was told it was original paint, but have no way to be sure.
The bike will clean up more with some elbow grease. Included with the bike is a correct, original Harley two into one exhaust pipe and muffler. The muffler has had a tip attached, can be easily cut off. Also included with the bike are an original style decal set and owner's manual.

Super low mile (only 1,800 original miles) Yamaha XT 500 just out of long term storage.
Maybe the nicest one you will ever see or find. 1981 was the last U. S. model year made and they are very hard to come by and are very cool looking in the silver and bare aluminium color scheme. Engine is original and has never been touched with the engine
number matching the frame number. Very rare original tires which where installed on the assembly line and obviously have the impossible to get today correct date codes on them (a very big point boost in the all original/survivor motorcycle shows). Tires are still in excellent shape for their age and even still have the paint/ink stamp on them and the rims even still have the stickers on them as well.
Inside the gas tank looks absolutely like new. The tool kit is perfect original and has never been used. Hand grips are original and perfect. Bike has never been off-road and even the aluminium skid plate is free of any marks or scrapes. All the chrome is excellent. The front fork aluminium
is flawless and just like the day it was made. The bike really is a museum worthy bench mark vehicle with all the stickers still in place and factory paint/ink part numbers on items etc.
Seat cover is still original and perfect. Bike runs flawlessly as you would expect and is a very easy starter as this last model came with the carb throttle positioner which makes starting a sinch. I can start this bike with one or two kicks when cold, one when warm. Bike is all factory original and untouched and unrestored in any way. The only real cosmetic flaw is a shallow dimple on top of the gas tank but the paint is completely undamaged so the dimple can be easily pushed out by a paintless dent remover and it will be perfect. This is a no excuse or story needed vehicle and is in amazing condition. Pink slip is clean, clear, and in my name.

original 1942 Harley-Davidson WLA Army bike.
The bike is in amazing unrestored condition and still wears its original paint. I recently serviced the bike and got it running. I don't have much history on the bike but was informed by a knowledgeable WLA collector that the bike was most likely overseas and possibly in the Russian army judging by
the blue paint it once had over the original army green from the factory. The bike is original paint that has been reclaimed from under the blue paint believed to be sprayed by the Russian Army. I got the bike in this exact condition other than getting it running.
I am not a WLA expert but from what I can tell it is an extremely original bike with a few parts like the seat and carb that are not exactly WLA parts but are still some very nice and valuable pieces. I don't see anything repop on the bike and I don't believe the motor has ever been apart. Even the muffler and full exhaust system is original and in really good condition. The battery cover and speedo drive are the only things
I see missing. This bike also has the original service tag that matches the serial number on the motor! What's even more interesting is the delivery date on the tag of May 2nd 1942 which is the day the German army surrendered and the Battle of Berlin was won by the Allied Forces essentially ending the war.
What an amazing date in history to have attached to this amazing motorcycle. This bike would look great rolling on the beach this summer for the 75th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France. Don't miss your chance to buy a piece of real history here! The ID tag says delivery date of May 2nd 1945, not 1942 as previously written. Yes, I know the war didn ât end in 1942, it âs just a typo! Clean title.

Very nicely restored 1954 BMW R68 - This machine was restored by a previous owner to a good quality.
It features matching frame and engine numbers from the factory and an original set of rare optional Kronprinz " no-lip" aluminum alloy rims recently restored by Buchannan Spoke and Rim along with new Metzeler Block C 3.50 x 19"
tires. Correct 1/26/9 1/26/10 carburators as well. I went over this motorcycle and corrected a few things after receiving it for a client, in doing that I noticed that some previous owner had welded a flat tab onto the frame on both sides rearward of the seat - perhaps for some other type f seat mounting?
Who knows. The bike runs well and has no issues that I know of. A perfectionist will have a few things to do to make it 100% - but that's part of the fun! The R68 is one of, if not the most desirable plunger twin made after the war. It is certainly the fastest one.

1953 Vincent Rapide Series C.
Its in good original running condition. I only rode it to shows or breakfast once in a while. It has 441 kilometers on it. I put less than 100 of them on it. I have done very little to it since I owned it. Other than basic maintenance. Shortly after I purchased it, I had the magneto rebuilt with new magnets and
windings. This made it start a lot easier. Its stored in my heated car garage. I have a few oil filters for it. Other than that, what you see is what you get.

Excellent condition 1979 Honda CBX runs and rides like it did in '79, this bike is 100% original except for things like tires, the battery which is a brand new top of the line gel battery, brakes, and all the fluids have been changed regularly, had a major tune up and the carbs cleaned 2 years ago, everything on this bike works perfectly as it should, all the original stickers and decals are there, the exhaust is the original HM422 and is in great condition!

Very rare and desirable 1969 BMW R69US.
This is a triple matching numbers bike. Frame matches the engine which both match the title. With the telescopic front forks, these were produced in very low numbers. Only approx. 1100 or so were produced from 1968-1969. So, you are buying a pretty rare piece of BMW motorcycle history. The mileage is correct,
23,587 miles. Yes, this is the original paint and yes the bike is original except for the mufflers which were installed in 2006 and are a later R series muffler. Everything works, including all electrical items. I recently installed a new set of Michelin A8 tires on the bike.
The bike still retains the original tool kit as pictured, stored away. All tools are still intact and have never been removed from the pouch by either me or the original owner.

This is a beautiful BMW R69S with a COMPLETELY REBUILT MOTOR.
The rebuild was done 15 years ago, and the engine has seen just 462 miles since then. The bike has spent most of its recent life parked in a living room! It starts easily, runs great, and the transmission shifts well... it simply requires some careful detailing. Features include:
matching serial numbers Pagusa solo seat + BMW rear rack6 gallon sport tank + tank emblem collars12-volt conversionrebuilt rear drive with new bearings + seals Euro handlebar + early style leversnew cables + rear brake rodnew grips + footpeg rubbersnew headlight trim ring + reflectordeep dish rims + stainless steel spokeschrome wheel coversstainless steel fastenersstainless steel exhaust systemnew shocksnew steering damper + risersnew chrome pushrod tubessport front fenderchrome air cleaner Flanders side stand + center stand Enduro side cases Bumm mirrortire pumpand more!
The tires look good but require replacement due to age. The right-side Enduro case cover is scratched, and the upper-left side of the fuel tank has a small chip where the filler cap was dropped. Note: as photos indicate, no battery was installed during photo shoot. Thanks for looking!
