A day in the life of the Warehouse Selector: The warehouse selector will start the shift by organizing an electric pallet jack to begin the picking process. Once the pallet jack is prepared the selector receives a pick list and begins a pick route in the dry goods. The selector will continue to move along the route picking groceries according to the pick list through dry groceries, cooler groceries, and lastly frozen groceries.
Upon completion of the pick list, the selector will wrap and label the pallet. The pallet will then be added to a delivery truck and the selector will reorganize their pallet jack and start another pick list.
This process continues until all orders have been completed. Responsibilities: Independently and efficiently pick groceries using electric pallet jacks Verify that all product picked matches the label Build secure pallets that are in sequence with the delivery schedule Label pallets correctly according to the delivery schedule Load pallets onto the delivery trucks Apply knowledge of driving, stocking, picking, and replenishing skills in maneuvering material handling equipment at
varying speeds in difficult situations: such as heavy traffic, crowded conditions, wet or slippery floors, or high heights.
