and commissioning, the I&C engineer is the technical resource for the FHR Project Capability to engineer and cost effectively integrate technology solutions to deliver the project objectives.
The successful candidate is expected to have a broad and in-depth knowledge of instrumentation and controls design, acceptance testing, device field installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. They will have to leverage their personal experience, the broader FHR and industry networks to identify the technical details to successfully deploy new technology. What You Will Do Expected to engage and coordinate technology selection with the various capabilities to provide a fit for purpose design
and installation of the technical solution to meet the project objectives.
Expected to provide oversight and approval of the deliverables from engineering contractor to support the engineering and procurement effort. This will require active involvement with the engineering contractor to answer specific engineering development questions, follow up on and help resolve design issues. Expected to support of Factory Acceptance Testing. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in engineering Experience in instrument and / or controls engineering, may be project or industrial support (selection, design, planning and implementation) Experience working in a continuous petrochemical process manufacturing environment where responsibilities involved Operations, Maintenance or Engineering What Will Put You Ahead Work experience utilizing a phased/gated project execution model Working knowledge of Emerson Delta V DCS platform Working knowledge of various PLC platforms Working knowledge of various network data connectivity protocols This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identification Credentialing rule or " TWIC" and will require the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge, allowing for unescorted access to the facility within a specific time period.
