The Database Administrator, Mid will provide systems engineering (SE) support to backss and oversee the technical requirements, design, development, and implementation of the database systems under the purview of the Defense Intelligence Agency. Responsibilities Conduct requirements analysis, design, development, performance measurement, verification and validation, certification and accreditation, deployment, change management, and transition by applying a broad and deep set of engineering and

May be required to perform data migration from various client databases into a consolidated database. Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities. Employ knowledge of client-server and internet systems architectures. Provide onsite customer support in their SCIF located in Reston, VA a minimum of two (2) days per week Other duties as assigned Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance required (with CI Poly preferred). Bachelor’s degree required.

5+ years of experience with systems engineering support, including requirements definitions, architecture development, and other program support. Possess and maintain a valid state motor vehicle operator's license. Do D 8570 IAT or IAM Level I or II certification required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 5+ years of experience with database development preferred. Ability to demonstrate a broad and deep set of engineering expertise. Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SLDC) is required. Experience with Jira Product Management software is required. Responsibilities include: Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment with limited oversight. Interface with the teaming partners and regulators for technical issue studies, resolutions, and recommendations. Develops functional/system analysis to define facility/system design requirements. Establishes means of verifying requirements implementation, including acceptance criteria. Develops system and facility design criteria documents. Supports system-level design verification, requirements verification, test requirements specification, and requirements flow-down and traceability.

Develops key engineering documents related to the systems engineering discipline. Perform model-based Systems Engineering using a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) automation tool (e. g. IBM® Rationale DOORS®, Cradle by 3Sl or Innoslate by Spec Innovations). Performs research and documentation that establishes system operations and limits that are obtained from the review of design and basis documents and from discussions with system designers. Reviews and checks work of other Systems Engineers.

Performs impact analyses for proposed requirement changes. Executes periodic backssments to validate implementation and traceability of requirements into design. Supports maintaining Configuration Management within the Program. Accountable for error-free deliverables. Supports coordination with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team. Qualifications and Skills Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or a related Engineering field (e. g. Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or Nuclear Engineering) from an accredited university or college with at least 9 years of relevant technical experience.

Excellent oral and written communication. Experience with Microsoft Office programs, and other common computer programs. Experience with RAMI/FMECA analysis.

Experience with system modeling and efficiency analysis. Familiarity with the implementation of requirements in the design of complex facilities. Experience with SE implementation on projects executed for power plants, DOD, or other similar government agencies.
