Condition Overall the hull is absent any major scratches or damage.
The hull with a good buff and wax should bring out a nice finish. Some rust stains on the fiberglass. Power coat and T-top is fresh. Powder coat on swim ladder has a few imperfections. Low hours on the motor! Seller represents all system are working as they should.

1980 Marine Trader 38 Trawler with single Ford Lehman Diesel Motor.
MOTOR IS NOT RUNNING. NEEDS TO BE REBUILT.
This is a coveted Trawler by many because of its design, double cabins and fuel efficient diesel motor. Motor needs to be rebuilt and is not running.
MOTOR IS NOT RUNNING.... NEEDS TO BE REBUILT. Complete restoration of the teak is needed ....or, cleaning and sand to let the teak assume a natural weathered look. Sail is missing as is the bimini canvas. The bimini hardware/frame is in place and ready for a new canvas. Flybridge helm station needs to be refurbished. Flooring has delaminated on flybridge. Fuel tanks are corroded.Generator is not working. The boat has a moldy smell from being closed up in the extreme heat this summer. Needs to be cleaned and aired out. Condition This is a central Listing so I have not seen the boat in person and can only go by what the Seller has told me about the condition of the unit.
It is a Custom Built boat and it is hard to compare it against other Listings.
