structural foam. This choice not only supplies the yacht with high-temperature resistance but also provides thermal and acoustic insulation, a characteristic typically reserved for vessels exceeding 100 feet in length. Longitudinal and lateral fiberglass stringers, filled with high-density foam, contribute to TLC’s structural integrity.
The yacht’s main engines have in place a three-year extended warranty through July of 2026. OVERVIEW One of TLC’s standout features is her sound and vibration control. Ocean Alexander has dedicated extensive efforts to creating a serene and comfortable yachting environment. They've achieved this through a range of techniques, including multiple insulation
barriers such as reflective materials, absorptive materials, dampening materials, air pockets, and flexible isolation mounts. These innovations result in industry-leading noise and vibration levels.
The 90R incorporates fiberglass with infusion lamination technology, a reinforced collision bulkhead, frameless windows and all exterior hardware crafted from S/S 316 or in accordance with manufacturer requirements. Weather-tight bulkheads provide additional sound and temperature insulation for a truly exceptional experience. Unique features that distinguish TLC include a Side Power hydraulic stabilizer with a zero-speed system, recognized with the DAME 2013 award for its patented curved fin
design. She is equipped with a Side Power 55HP bow thruster and a 40HP stern thruster.
On her interior, TLC is characterized by her sophisticated design. The style combines Beryllium with Walnut and Ebony wood selections. Wood paneling and cabinetry add to the luxurious feel, while the ergonomically designed helm station and display pod enhance the Captain's experience. High-quality European door locks, cedar-lined hanging lockers with auto lighting, fabric-covered walls in the lower walkway and concealed hinges throughout interior cabinets exemplify the yacht's attention to detail. Electric shades with remote control grace the salon, master and skylounge windows, and custom wood flooring adorn the salon and skylounge in lieu of carpet.
TLC sleeps eight guests in four staterooms and accommodates three crew members in two staterooms. The VIP stateroom stands out as a second master suite, and the secondary staterooms feature movable berths for couples or doubles. Two sets of full-size washers and dryers make extended voyages hassle-free. An open galley design is convenient for owners who like to cook and pocket doors offer the option for chef-prepared formal dining. The exterior of TLC was designed by Evan Marshall and his team. SARABETH's exterior styling features a sleek design that marries form and function. The hull is constructed with fiberglass mat and roving, vinylester resin and PVC linear cores, ensuring durability and performance. The lamination process incorporates various materials, such as foam core and high-density areas, resulting in a robust structure. The deck spaces are equally impressive.
The aft deck boasts a full-service bar, cushioned seating, a teak dining table and loose dining chairs. The foredeck features teak decking, a flagstaff and comfortable seating with storage underneath. SARABETH’s flybridge is a fantastic entertainment space with a hot tub, dining area and lounges, all under a stylish hardtop. The yacht’s forward observation deck offers a serene spot at the bow with teak decking and lounge chairs. The boat deck features more teak decking, a birdtail table, love seat and armchairs, providing an ideal vantage point for taking in the surroundings. A hydraulic davit and life rafts add practicality, while a mirror-polished stainless steel handrail ensures safety.
CONSTRUCTION & EXTERIOR FINISH The hull is fiberglass mat and roving with vinylester resin and PVC linear cores. Structural framing is a combination of fiberglass and carbon fiber reinforcement. House and deck structures are cored composite construction. Core material and density varies throughout to optimize engineered structures. LAMINATION: Sprayed exterior gelcoat is followed by fiberglass mat and roving with vinylester resin for the outer skins, vacuum bagged foam core (high density in appropriate areas), and fiberglass mat and roving with vinylester resin for the inner skins.
The keel pad, strut palms and stabilizer pads are resin infused using vinylester resin. HULL STRUCTURE: Hull stringers, webs and stiffeners are fiberglass mat and roving and/or carbon fiber with vinylester resin over foam forms. All soles and structural bulkheads are of fiberglass and foam composite construction infused with vinylester resin. PAINT Hull/ house: Westport white Alexseal high gloss polyurethane. Boot stripe: Acrylic high gloss black. Bottom Paint: Consists of Seahawk black antifouling bottom paint over an epoxy barrier coat.
SYSTEMS DIESEL FUEL SYSTEM: Total capacity: Approx. 9,900 gallons (US) in 5 tanks. Fill locations are on the port and starboard aft Main Deck house sides. Fill/transfer system includes centrifuge, pumps, meter and distribution manifold. Diesel engines draw from the day tank. Engines and Generators are fueled via priming pumps and filters.
