The sails are reported to be in working order and the general condition of the vessel is better than average. The interior is in very good condition.

The cabin can hold six people comfortably. The birdpit can easily hold that many or more. The O'day 28's forgiving nature and easy stability make this boat for sailors new to boat ownership or the more experienced, an easy choice. The birdpit has cushions, in serviceable condition, on the back and both sides with cup holders by the wheel.
