double-planked on the bottom so the first layer used was 1088 marine plywood as per Don Dandenbergs method. The outer layer is a Philippine Mahogany cut, leaving a gap between planks to allow the swelling of wet wood. Between layers, a coat of 3M 5200 adhesive is applied, filling those gaps.
