Sellers Comments: Very few Meteors ever
One engine currently needs a new ring gear and cannot be started. Hull appears to be in good condition for the year of production. There is a surface scratch on starboard side will be fixed by the marina. The bottom is in good condition. Discolored from being in water along with outdrives. Interior is in very good condition. Leather appointments are like new and very comfortable. Appliances and operating systems appear good but were not turned on. Seller's Comments on Cobra Engines: All three engines are new blocks, pistons, cranks, heads and intake manifold. Some parts were reused like flywheels. TZ Marine which is a mechanic located at the same marina does all my maintenance because they know high-performance boats much better. They would pull the motor and then my own engine mechanics built the motors. Initially, I was going to rebuild motors as needed, but once I took them apart, I decided just to replace everything. When you are looking at an engine block and have some concerns on corrosion, you might as well replace it because of the cost to remove, tear down and reinstall an engine. I know every part that makes one of those motors because I have built them from scratch. Engines are raw water cooled. There is a fresh water flush out. In that area of the Hudson, the water is brackish because the ocean water mixes with the river water. TRAILER IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
